Kevin Scanlon’s career in electrical engineering makes him ideally suited to supporting our patent procurement team as we guide clients in the electrical, computer, and electronics space. A current law student and electrical engineer for the U.S. Navy, Kevin has deep knowledge of the science driving technical innovation as well as an understanding of how to secure protection for innovators’ valuable intellectual property.

Kevin Scanlon is an experienced and accomplished electrical engineer specializing in electrical engineering and data processing with particular experience with power generation and distribution, electrical insulation, and power monitoring. As an engineer, he has designed and built large-scale test sites, conducted a wide array of tests, written extensively, and presented engineering and research topics to audiences ranging from elementary school students to senior Pentagon officials.

 

Kevin is currently pursuing his J.D. at Seton Hall Law while working as an engineer full-time and part-time as a scientific advisor. He received his B.S. with a concentration in digital signal processing and M.S. with a concentration in power systems, both from Drexel University.

Kevin is a proud father of two sons. In his spare time, he enjoys playing guitar and drums, reading, running, hiking with his dog, and playing ice hockey.
