Law360 covered a recent decision by the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) that effectively upheld a patent granted to Panitch Schwarze client Idea Nuova Inc. The PTAB declined a request for inter partes review of a patent held by Idea Nuova covering the design of a foldable chair. Murray told Law360 that he was pleased by the board’s decision not to institute review of the patent and that his client is “looking forward to continue utilizing and enforcing its intellectual property.”
