PHILADELPHIA (June 2023) – Philadelphia intellectual property law firm Panitch Schwarze Belisario & Nadel LLP is pleased to announce that Jeffrey Koha has joined the firm as controller. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with more than a decade of experience in the legal industry, Koha works to add operational efficiencies and implement new software, and he acts as a liaison between finance, accounting, and IT to coordinate projects and best practices.

Koha began his career as a financial analyst, helping various firms to make budgetary decisions and analyzing client performance to determine hourly rates. As financial controller at Ulmer & Berne LLP, he utilized software to develop the firm’s annual budget, and he implemented an attorney profitability model and reporting system. As financial planning and analysis manager at Thompson Hine LLP, he used technological tools to assist firm leadership in reviewing write-downs, provided financial analysis to practice group leaders, and created operational reports for the firm’s partners.

Koha also has served in accountant and consultant roles at London Financial Group, TBT Construction Services, Inc., and Dyer, Hughes, Roche & Wilson, Inc. He received a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance at the University of Toledo.
