Stephen E. Murray and Ava E. Lutz will participate as speakers at the 42nd Annual Joint Patent Practice Seminar, hosted by the Joint Patent Practice Continuing Legal Education, Inc. (JPPCLE), on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (ET), at the New York City Bar Association, 42 West 44th Street, New York, NY 10036.

Stephen will serve as moderator for Panel 1: USPTO & PTAB Practice, running from 9:30 to 10:30 AM. The panel will cover recent developments in design patent law, prosecution history estoppel, IPR estoppel, anticipation and inherency, and patent eligibility in biologics.

Ava will present during the Ethics panel from 3:50 to 4:50 PM. Her presentation will address discovery issues and the appropriateness of evidence introduced at trial, with a focus on recent Federal Circuit precedent.
