Nhat D. Phan is an accomplished patent attorney who has devoted his career to protecting the intellectual property of innovators in the chemical, polymer, pharmaceutical, and mechanical fields. With a background in chemical engineering, Nhat uses his insider knowledge of the industry to help clients from around the world procure patents and navigate patent infringement cases.

Nhat has experience in many facets of patent law, from preparation and prosecution to licensing and enforcement. His practice is currently devoted to assisting clients with infringement and validity studies, patent procurement around the world, and opposition proceedings in Europe.

 

Nhat has successfully defended such companies as Mylan Pharmaceuticals, Conor Medsystems, Eli Lilly, and Eastman Chemical Company in patent infringement cases. He was trained as a chemical engineer, and has assisted clients in the chemical, polymer, pharmaceutical, and mechanical fields.

When he’s not working, Nhat enjoys golfing and traveling.
