Julianna L. Hunt utilizes her firsthand experience with the legal needs of startup companies to secure the best possible protection for clients’ intellectual property. Julianna understands the process of international expansion and corporate formation from the inside and is prepared to support businesses with growing patent portfolios and complex IP needs.

Prior to joining Panitch Schwarze, Julianna L. Hunt served as a legal assistant at a startup software company. She helped the company form and implement its first compliance program, assisted in its international expansion and corporate formation in Ireland, managed all contracts and business agreements, facilitated the company’s achievement of its clinical and regulatory certification from the FDA, and engaged with the software scientists and legal team to expand the company’s patent and intellectual property portfolio.

As a student at Temple University Beasley School of Law, she was active in the intellectual property space, participating in the school’s Intellectual Property Moot Court Team and Intellectual Property Law Society. She augmented her legal studies through Temple Law’s Study Abroad Summer Program, where she studied international sports law and international civil litigation in Rome, Italy.

Prior to pursuing her Juris Doctor degree, Julianna earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Drexel University and served as a clinical research assistant at Penn Medicine, University of Pennsylvania Health System. She also earned a master’s degree in legal studies from Drexel University’s Thomas R. Kline School of Law, where she focused her studies on pharmaceutical and medical device regulatory compliance.

Julianna volunteers for organizations that fund research initiatives to find a cure for cancer, such as Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Walk for Hope and Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation Walk/Run to End Childhood Cancer. Her hobbies include cooking, running, international travel (especially Italy!), and rooting on all Philly sports teams.
