Details: Panitch Schwarze attorney Steven D. Lustig will speak at the 2025 Annual Meeting of the International Trademark Association (INTA). He will moderate a Table Topic titled “The Trademark Modernization Act: A Practical Guide to Drafting Petitions for Expungement and Reexamination.”

Participants will provide tips on how to navigate the rules for trademark prosecution and maintenance that were implemented under the United States Patent and Trademark Office’s (USPTO) Trademark Modernization Act. The discussion will focus on important considerations for beginning the process of expungement and reexamination.

With more than 20 years of experience, Lustig focuses his practice on all aspects of trademark law, from due diligence to enforcement. His international clientele ranges from individuals to large multinational companies. While his practice is in every commercial area, he is particularly experienced in the automotive, pharmaceutical, apparel, and technology industries.
