Details: Panitch Schwarze partner Travis W. Bliss, Ph.D. will participate in a program entitled “Plants & IP: USPTO Essentials for Agri-Business” presented by the United States Patent and Trademark Office and the Delaware Small Business Development Center.

The discussion will focus on best practices for intellectual property protection, with a special emphasis on agricultural businesses and technology. Bliss will be joined by Christian Hannon, Patent Attorney at the USPTO, Fan-Li Chou, Vice President of Scientific Affairs & Policy at ASTA, and David B. Chalkey, Examiner at the Plant Variety Protection Office at USDA.

Bliss is an IP attorney that counsels numerous clients in the agriculture, horticulture, and cannabis industries on appropriate IP protections to secure, and he assists in procuring, monetizing, and enforcing IP assets for those agri-businesses.
