Law student Ikenna C. Ejimonyeugwo provides support to boutique IP law firm
PHILADELPHIA (November 2022) – IP law firm Panitch Schwarze Belisario & Nadel LLP is pleased to announce that Ikenna C. Ejimonyeugwo has joined the firm as a law clerk.
A student at Widener University Delaware Law School, Ejimonyeugwo comes to the firm with experience in intellectual property law and technology. He served as a legal engineer at Konscious.ai LLC, where he handled the legal affairs of the company within the tech software/R&D industry, drafted legal contracts, assisted in developing legal technology, and assessed legal risks. As a patent assistant at the Delaware Law Patent Pro Bono Program, he analyzed proposals from inventors seeking legal advice with patents and IP and assisted IP attorneys with patents, copyrights, and trademarks. He is the president of the Intellectual Property Law Society at Delaware Law School and organizes networking events for law students led by IP lawyers to discuss intellectual property matters. Prior to pursuing his law degree, Ejimonyeugwo served as a manager, legal compliance associate, and licensed mortgage banker at NewDay Financial LLC, where he identified legal risks, implemented safeguard controls, and enforced internal guidelines to comply with banking and real estate law. He received a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Maryland. He has conducted scientific research funded by the National Science Foundation for UMD’s Biology Research Department and has provided healthcare services overseas.
