Small, Ph.D. will discuss life sciences patent considerations during the 7th Annual Life Sciences Patent Network (LSPN) North America–Spring Conference, an event co-sponsored by the firm.
During roundtable sessions, Hirschhorn and Dunston will discuss post-grant reviews, and Bliss and Small will discuss the latest challenges in antibody patents.

They will also cover important considerations for navigating defensive and offensive strategies.

Dunston focuses her practice on patent procurement, opinions, enforcement (both in district courts and before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board), and portfolio strategy.
Hirschhorn is an experienced trial lawyer specializing in patent litigation and other intellectual property proceedings, including post-grant proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeals Board of the USPTO.
Small focuses her practice on acquiring and preserving intellectual property rights in all areas of life science, including biologics, pharmaceuticals, treatment/diagnostic methods, novel plant varieties, and transgenic plants.
Organized by Life Sciences Intellectual Property Review, LSPN North America Spring 2025 gathers professionals from the intricate world of life sciences IP. Participants share cutting-edge insights into IP challenges in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical technology industries.
