In a recent Law360 article titled Fed. Circ. Revives Patent Infringement Suit Over Paint Tech, attorney Travis W. Bliss, Ph.D., was quoted in connection with a Federal Circuit decision in Durr Systems Inc. v. EFC Systems Inc. The appellate court reversed a district court’s summary judgment ruling of noninfringement in favor of Panitch Schwarze’s client, EFC Systems Inc., finding that the lower court had misinterpreted key claim construction terms related to spray paint equipment patents. The case has been remanded for further proceedings.
