Dr. Yang “Young” Wang is an experienced technology transfer attorney with a life sciences background. He focuses his practice on patent procurement, IP litigation and enforcement, counseling, and licensing and monetization
Dr. Yang “Young” Wang is experienced in a variety of IP legal matters . As an associate
at Cooley LLP , he drafted and negotiated intellectual property and technology licenses
as well as commercial agreements for public and private life sciences enterprises. He
also performed IP due diligence for corporate transactions and technology transfers.
While serving as an associate at Prowse Chowne LLP in Canada , he negotiated and
drafted agreements for clients in the technology industry including intellectual property
licensing , technology transfer , and other strategic alliance agreements
Young has been admitted as an attorney in the state of New York and the province of
Alberta, Canada. He received his J D . and a Ph.D. in cell biology from the University of
Alberta . He also earned a master’s degree in cell and genetic engineering and a
