Elisha Hess is the firm’s controller and has more than 20 years of experience providing accounting and billing support at professional services firms. Her background includes managing the various aspects of accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, payroll, general ledger accounting, and reporting. During her career, she has provided leadership support by supervising and training staff, establishing policies and procedures within the accounting department, and maintaining internal controls.
Prior to joining the firm, Elisha managed the daily operations of the accounting departments at Banner Witcoff, an IP law firm, as their Accounting Manager, and at Treliant, a multi-industry consulting firm, where she was the Senior Finance Manager. She also previously managed the billing department of the Northern Virginia office of Baker Tilly, an accounting and advisory firm, and began her career as a Billing Coordinator at the international law firm Hogan Lovells.
Originally from Pennsylvania, Elisha moved to the Washington, DC area where she attended Northern Virginia Community College and graduated with an AAS in Business Management and Finance. She went on to earn a BS in Accounting from Western Governors University
