Jeffrey W. Gluck, Ph.D. presented at the 2021 AIPLA annual meeting.

PHILADELPHIA (October 2021) – Panitch Schwarze partner Jeffrey W. Gluck, Ph.D presented at the AIPLA annual 2021 meeting on a panel titled Analyzing Oracle v. Google. The panel discussion focused on the six-two U.S. Supreme Court decision where the justices overturned a lower court’s ruling regarding Google’s use of Oracle’s software code in early versions of the Android operating system. The Court found that Google’s inclusion of the software did not constitute a fair use under U.S. copyright law.

Gluck has written extensively about Oracle v. Google. Visit the Panitch Schwarze website to read his blog about the final decision in the case.
