PHILADELPHIA (August 2023) – The Philadelphia intellectual property law firm of Panitch Schwarze Belisario & Nadel LLP is pleased to announce that partner Jeffrey W. Gluck, Ph.D. has been named to the 2023 edition of the IAM Strategy 300, which honors the world’s leading intellectual property strategists. Because of his work as a leading intellectual property attorney, Gluck has earned the distinction of Strategy 300 Global Leader- the most prestigious ranking offered by IAM.
The IAM Strategy 300: The World’s Leading IP Strategists identifies individuals who are leading the way in developing and implementing strategies that maximize the value of IP portfolios. The guide lists intellectual property practitioners from a variety of backgrounds, including service providers, corporations, research institutions, and universities. Those named to the list must be nominated by at least three people from outside of their organization and are chosen through a rigorous vetting process that examines nominees’ development, creation, and management of IP value.
With careers as an engineering researcher and an intellectual property attorney, Gluck brings both perspectives to the table when serving clients. His legal practice spans a broad range of areas, including patent application and prosecution, IP counseling, providing legal opinions, serving on litigation teams, and appellate litigation.
He is a frequent author and speaker on matters relating to patent law and software IP law. His engineering experience includes roles in industry, academia, and government, and he has authored numerous technical papers. With a technical background in the electrical and computer areas, Gluck specializes in sophisticated electrical and computer-related technologies, including telecommunication systems, signal processing, control systems, solar energy technology, semiconductor devices, and high-performance computing. His practice also includes technologies such as vehicle steering and braking systems and other mechanical systems, gaming systems, and financial technology.
Gluck earned his law degree from Georgetown University Law Center, his Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the University of Maryland, his master’s degree in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Massachusetts, and his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and computer science from Princeton University.
