Position:         Lateral Trademark Attorney (with partial book of business)

Location:        Remote, or Hybrid in Philadelphia, PA or Wilmington, DE

Panitch Schwarze Belisario & Nadel LLP, a renowned intellectual property boutique, seeks to hire a highly qualified mid-level to senior level Trademark Attorney, with a portable book of business of at least $200,000, to join our Trademark Practice Team.

GENERAL SUMMARY

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years’ experience in managing U.S. and international trademark portfolios with specific experience in trademark clearance, prosecution, investigations, and enforcement, as well as a portable book of business of at least $200,000. Candidates should also have strong academic credentials, excellent legal writing skills, and be highly organized and detail oriented.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 7+ years’ experience and in-depth knowledge of trademark counseling, clearance, prosecution, and portfolio management
• USPTO and TTAB experience
• IP transactional experience
• Superior academic record, excellent written and communication skills, strong attention to detail, and strong analytical abilities
• Highly motivated and results-oriented
• Thrives working independently and in a team environment
• Good standing in the bar(s) where licensed to practice law
• Some portable business (minimum $200,000)

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

• Trademark and copyright counseling, prosecution, and litigation (including litigation before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board)
• Domain name disputes (both in court and ICANN proceedings)
• Online Enforcement
• Licensing
• Global brand enforcement
