Filing and prosecuting patents before the USPTO can be quite straightforward in some instances, but much less so in others. In this session we will discuss a number of tips and tricks that can be applied in various circumstances to accelerate or increase efficiency/effectiveness of prosecution before the USPTO. This session will include discussions of USPTO programs that can be used to accelerate the start of examination, tips for helping to reduce unnecessary office actions, programs that can be used to address final office actions more efficiently, as well as other programs that may be available for expediting examination of certain types of applications.
