Information Technology (IT) Support Specialist

 

GENERAL SUMMARY:  

  • The IT Support Specialist will provide efficient and effective technical support and advice to all firm personnel. The IT Specialist will be responsible for installing and maintaining personal computer hardware and software systems for all users.  

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • HS Diploma required.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in a computer/technical field preferred or at least 2 years of equivalent help desk experience.
  • Previous law firm experience a plus.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat Professional.
  • Proficient with a CRM Software.
  • Experience Desktop Imaging.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate to personnel of all levels clearly and effectively.
  • Ability to multi-task, work independently and organize workload to meet deadlines and needs.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide daily and reliable IT support to all firm personnel.
  • Troubleshoot all internal hardware including computers, phones (mobile and VoIP), copiers and printers.
  • Serve as liaison to multiple vendors to improve day to day operations.
  • Train all current and new employees on firms systems, programs and applicable processes and IT equipment.
  • Set up conference rooms, meeting all requests and preferences for all firms meetings and event.
  • Set up new computers and mobile phones and install all necessary software, programs and applications for current and new employees.
