The Electrical Engineer Associate, Agent or Advisor will provide technical support and expertise to assist with all aspects of patent protection focusing on the electrical arts. This person will  assist in the preparation, filing and prosecution of patent applications as well as conducting searches and reviews for due diligence, patentability and freedom to operate analyses. Practical experience and an in-depth knowledge of electrical engineering is required.



  • Bachelor of Science, Master of Science or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering

  • Active USPTO Registration (if Agent or Associate)

  • 1-5 years of Electrical Engineering experience

  • 1-5 years previous IP law experience

  • Superior academic record, excellent written and communication skills, strong attention to detail and strong analytical abilities

  • Superior technical, verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong analytical and problem solving abilities

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize and resolve conflicting workload assignments, and adapt to changing conditions
  • Good standing in the bar(s) where licensed to practice law, and willing to sit for the Pennsylvania or Delaware bar if not already licensed in one of those states
