Description:
PSBN Partner Bill Schwarze will give a presentation on patent prosecution for US cases with foreign priorities. CLE credit is being applied for but is not guaranteed.

Faculty:
William W. Schwarze is a founding partner of Panitch Schwarze Belisario & Nadel LLP. Fluent in German, Mr. Schwarze focuses on matters involving chemical and foreign patents, and has many clients in the medical arts.
Prior to founding Panitch Schwarze Belisario & Nadel LLP, Mr. Schwarze was a partner at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld, LLP. Before joining Akin Gump, Mr. Schwarze was a founding partner of Panitch Schwarze Jacobs and Nadel, P.C., where he managed the firm's chemical patent practice. He began his career as a patent examiner in the U.S. Patent Office in Washington, D.C.
Mr. Schwarze is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar; the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and American Bar Associations; the Philadelphia Intellectual Property Law Association; and the American Intellectual Property Law Association. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
Mr. Schwarze received his B.Ch.E. from Yale University in 1965 and his LL.B. from the University of Pennsylvania in 1968.
