Description:
Summer Associates, Jennifer Bachorik and Marisa Johns will give a presentation on Inequitable Conduct. Discussion of 6 recent cases involving this issue will be the focus of this presentation. Lunch will be provided. CLE is being applied for but is not guaranteed.
Faculty:
Jennifer Bachorik
Jen Bachorik is J.D. candidate at Temple University Beasley School of Law. She recently was employed as a Research and Communications Scientist at Integral Molecular, a biotech company at the Science Center. Prior to this, she was a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Pennsylvania / Howard Hughes Medical Institute. Jen has a B.A. in music from the University of Pennsylvania and a Ph.D. in cellular and molecular biology from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. She has extensive experience in the area of RNA biology, using both genetic and biochemical approaches to characterize RNA-binding proteins and their interactions.
Marisa Johns
Marisa Johns is a summer associate at Panitch Schwarze Belisario & Nadel. She will soon be entering her second year at the Temple University Beasley School of Law. Before law school, she attended the University of Virginia where she double majored in Physical Chemistry and Physics. Marisa has laboratory research experience in the fields of Neuroscience, Psychiatry, Microbiology, and Physiology.
