Panitch Schwarze Belisario & Nadel Attorney Appointed Chair of the Trademark Legislation Committee of ABA Intellectual Property Law Section

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. Attorney Christina Frangiosa of Panitch Schwarze Belisario & Nadel LLP was appointed Chair of the Trademark Legislation Committee of the American Bar Association's Intellectual Property Law Section for 2011-2012., following two years of service as the Committee’s Vice Chair. Recently, the Committee has reported on or made policy recommendations on trademark bullying, "well-known" trademarks and the PROTECT IP Act currently pending in the U.S. Senate.

Commenting on her appointment to the Committee Chair's position, Jonathan Hudis, a partner with Oblon, Spivak, McClelland, Maier & Neustadt, LLP and Chair of the Section's Trademarks and Unfair Competition Division, said, “Christina's contributions to the Section's trademark and unfair competition initiatives over the past year were exemplary. During all the projects in which she was involved, Christina demonstrated energy, commitment, attention-to-detail and a fine work ethic. We applaud her appointment to the position of Chair of the Trademark Legislation Committee for the coming year."
