Mark T. Vogelbacker's practice focuses on the preparation and prosecution of patent applications in the United States Patent and Trademark Office and foreign patent offices, as well as new product clearance, due diligence and patentability analyses.  Mr. Vogelbacker concentrates primarily on the mechanical arts, including small home appliances, medical devices, toys, power systems, fuel cell systems and printing devices.

Prior to joining Panitch Schwarze Belisario & Nadel LLP, Mr. Vogelbacker was a patent agent at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld, LLP.  Previously, Mr. Vogelbacker was a patent examiner at the United States Patent and Trademark Office in Art Unit 3677 (miscellaneous hardware, fasteners, signs) and was employed as a fluids systems engineer at General Dynamics Electric Boat, where he preformed design alterations for the piping systems of various Ohio class nuclear submarines.

Mr. Vogelbacker received his B.S. in mechanical engineering from the Pennsylvania State University in 2004.  He is currently a student at the Temple University Beasley School of Law.  He is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
