John Jamieson's practice focuses primarily on patents. Mr. Jamieson is experienced in mechanical, electromechanical, electronic, optical, seismographic, computer and ceramic technologies in a wide variety of applications.

Prior to joining Panitch Schwarze Belisario & Nadel, Mr. Jamieson was a partner at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld. Before joining Akin Gump, Mr. Jamieson was a partner at Panitch Schwarze Jacobs & Nadel, P.C.

Mr. Jamieson received his BA cum laude from Harvard University in 1967, his M.S. in Engineering from Purdue University in 1969 and his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania in 1977. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar and is admitted to practice before the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Federal and 3rd Circuits and the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Mr. Jamieson is a member of the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and American Bar Associations, the Philadelphia Intellectual Property Law Association and the American Intellectual Property Law Association.
